It captured 14 of the 23 mayoral and county posts on offer, its allies, 亲民党 and 新党, won 3 more, while DPP won 6 only.

but this election is very crazy... both party's chairman gambled their political career on the vote;
马英九 on 11 counties, while 苏贞昌 on 10 counties and 台北县 must be one of them。

now see whether he will honour his word by resigning le..

but actually, i think the president should take on most of the responsibility for the defeat.
